Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a hands-on, on-site role at a state-of-the-art production facility that makes architectural wood doors. You will report to the Automation Engineering Manager and work closely with Production, CI, Maintenance and Engineering to drive process improvements.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and 3+ years of experience in a custom assembly operation, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• Associate degree Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently and, on a team
• Prior project management experience, start to finish, is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations.
• Apply strong process improvement skills to meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure sustained improvements.
• Work on the floor with operators, supervisors, and department leadership.
• Escalate problems requiring deeper process analysis after initial response.
• Coordinate planning, design, development and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics in conjunction with Production Teams.
