Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Wisconsin production facility. This hands-on role partners with Production, CI, Maintenance, and Engineering to solve day-to-day manufacturing issues and drive improvements on the shop floor.

You will develop practical solutions, assert change, and measure impact against KPIs, maintaining a strong on-floor presence and communicating with operators and supervisors to sustain benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Self-starter who can work independently and on a team.
• Prior project management experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for solving hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance with Production, CI, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Strong process improvement skills to meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained, driving change from problem identification through execution.
• Maintain strong presence on the manufacturing floor and work with operators, supervisors, and leaders to resolve issues.
• Serve as escalation resource for deeper process analysis after initial production/maintenance response.
• Coordinate efforts to plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements to existing processes.
• Improve processes and eliminate waste in key constraint areas.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
