Talent With Heart is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a hands-on role in its Manitowoc facility. You will tackle day-to-day manufacturing issues, collaborate with production teams, and lead improvements to boost safety, quality, productivity, and delivery.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in process improvement, 3+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, and proven leadership and project management capabilities to operate with minimal supervision across plants.

Qualificações

• Associate degree Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a custom assembly operation.
• Prior leadership experience is important for an independent role with a manager at another plant.
• Prior project management experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of staff.

Responsabilidades

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance with Production, Continuous Improvement, Maintenance, and Engineering.
• Apply strong process improvement skills to meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained, driving change.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and work with operators and supervisors to resolve issues.
• Escalate complex problems for deeper process analysis after initial response.
• Coordinate efforts to plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Improve processes and eliminate waste in key constraint areas.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics in conjunction with Production Teams.
