H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Manitowoc, WI facility.

This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and focuses on solving manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance across production, CI, maintenance and engineering teams. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in assembly, preferably wood products, plus an associate degree in a relevant engineering field.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Manufacturing Engineer in an assembly operation.
• Must be able to work independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for solving hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day performance.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure improvements are implemented and sustained.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and work with operators and leadership to resolve issues.
• Coordinate efforts to plan, design, develop and validate manufacturing processes and improvements.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity and delivery in assigned areas.
