Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/ manufacturing/ industrial engineering.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written skills required.
• Proficiency with PCs.
• Understanding of SPC.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements cost-efficient methods for production while ensuring safety, quality and cost standards.
• Plans and coordinates activities to produce specified products and ensures schedule compliance.
• Develops and updates process documentation and procedure instructions.
• Defines tooling and fixturing; coordinates with tool designers for new tooling and fixtures.
• Analyzes and evaluates manufacturing methods and standards to improve safety, quality, productivity and cost.
• Assists in development and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Reviews designs for cost reduction and quality improvements on parts.
