Job summary

Flexcraft is growing—and we’re hiring a hands-on Process Engineer with extrusion blow molding experience to help improve performance, reduce scrap, and support new product launches. This is an onsite role in Neptune City, NJ, offering ownership of the extrusion processes and a chance to solve real problems on the floor.

You will optimize cycle time, scrap reduction, and equipment performance, lead root-cause analyses, and partner with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of process engineering experience in plastics manufacturing.
• Hands-on extrusion blow molding experience preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize on the production floor.
• Knowledge of materials, tooling, and molding equipment.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, or Six Sigma tools is a plus.

What You’ll Be Working On

Work Environment & Schedule

This is an onsite, hands-on role supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

The position requires regular presence on the production floor and alignment with 12-hour production shifts as needed to support troubleshooting, process improvements, and key production activities.

This structure allows you to be closer to the process, respond in real time, and make faster, more effective improvements—not just analyze problems after the fact.

A typical day could include troubleshooting a process issue on the floor, running a trial, and working directly with operators to stabilize and improve performance.
