First Solar is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to install and qualify new process equipment and troubleshoot day-to-day production issues on the SC production line. You will address tool-downs, yield, quality issues, and drive improvements to throughput and product performance.

Qualified candidates have an Associate’s degree with 3+ years at First Solar or 6+ years in manufacturing, or a higher degree with no experience required. Travel domestically and internationally is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Requires engineering degree or equivalent with experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with data analysis and process improvement preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot day-to-day production issues on the line.

• Solve day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
• Install and qualify new equipment.
• Maintain gauges and process equipment.
• Design and run process experiments and analyze results.
• Collect data on daily equipment and product performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on projects.

• Identify yield and product performance improvements.
