Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a manufacturing analytics professional to drive labor standards and improve production efficiency. You will analyze labor inputs, balance lines, and develop methods to optimize cycles across current and future models.

The role involves conducting time and motion studies, ergonomics assessments, and collaborating with supervision and unions to implement cost-saving improvements. A strong background in ACAD and MODAPTS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of related experience is a plus.
• MODAPTS certification is preferred.
• GSPAS knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods.
• Track labor, manpower utilization and line balancing.
• Conduct job ergonomics evaluations.
• Analyze process constraints and perform cycle time analysis.
• Review plant methods and standards; prepare cost estimates.
• Interface with production supervision and the UAW to settle job disputes.
• Perform weekly roll analyses to balance work group on-roll numbers.
