Job summary

Kemin on the Des Moines campus is seeking a Process Engineer to advance continuous improvement across our manufacturing processes. You will optimize production methods, support equipment installation, and develop SOPs to support safe and efficient operations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, reduce costs, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance. This is an onsite role with growth opportunities within a global biotech company serving health, nutrition, and animal care

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering with up to 3 years of related experience.
• Industrial PLC design and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize plant processes with safety and cost reduction in mind.
• Provide technical support by optimizing and installing production equipment and controls.
• Design, test, install, and maintain manufacturing plant equipment and controls.
• Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
