Job summary

Kemin Industries is seeking a Research Technician to support laboratory testing, product development, and quality initiatives. This onsite role is based in Des Moines, IA, with a Monday–Friday schedule during standard business hours.

You will perform routine lab testing, stability studies, prototype evaluations, and document validation activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance. The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree with 0–2 years of relevant experience, strong bench chemistry skills,

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong bench chemistry skills and ability to perform routine lab tasks.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supports and assist scientific team with various R&D projects.
• Routine laboratory testing and prototype evaluation.
• Stability study pulls and testing.
• Validation run monitoring and documentation.
• Report and white paper generation.
• Packaging and qualification support activities.
• General laboratory operations, inventory, and equipment support.
• Routine quality and documentation activities, including change management support and specification updates.
