Job summary
Molex ADS is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes for electronics assemblies. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain to deliver reliable processes and scalable production solutions across the product lifecycle.
You will drive process improvements, support new product introductions, and implement data-driven solutions to improve quality, throughput and cost performance in a fast-paced manufacturing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline related to manufacturing.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or continuous improvement in a production environment.
- Knowledge of process development, root cause analysis, and optimization methodologies.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities
- Drive manufacturing process improvements to enhance product quality, throughput, and overall operational performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to successfully launch new products and ensure manufacturing readiness for production.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving efficiency, and lowering manufacturing costs.
- Evaluate production challenges and implement sustainable solutions that improve process capability and reliability.
- Support the development and deployment of new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and automation solutions.
- Utilize data-driven problem-solving techniques to identify trends, resolve recurring issues, and strengthen manufacturing performance.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, process standards, and engineering controls that support consistent operations.
- Collaborate with quality and operations teams to drive corrective actions and ensure customer, regulatory, and safety requirements are met.
