Job summary

HyAxiom, a leading provider of distributed generation fuel cell and electrolyzer solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to focus on production operations, non-conformance identification, and corrective actions. You will work closely with engineering disciplines and hourly staff to meet schedules and cost targets, while applying quality tools to drive improvements.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and mentoring team members in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with 4-7+ years of experience.
• BA/BS degree with 2-4+ years of experience.
• MA/MS degree with 0-2+ years of experience.
• Teambuilding focus, principles and practices.
• Experience working with an hourly production group, union or non-union.
• Metric usage.
• Support weekly production meetings.
• Proficient technical foundation in manufacturing engineering.
• Strong organizational and communications skills.
• Exposure to and experience with manufacturing and materials-related IT systems and programs.

Responsibilities

• Intense emphasis on non-conformance identification and prompt remedial actions to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Requires close interaction and collaboration with other engineering disciplines and hourly functions.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Committed to continuous improvement and root cause/corrective action.
• Support of and participation in manufacturing engineering teams and projects as assigned.
• Responsible for meeting production schedules, on time, at cost targets.
