Job summary

HyAxiom is seeking a Project Manager to oversee manufacturing initiatives that increase production capacity, reduce costs, and implement new processes. You will collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring detailed planning and effective multitasking.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and PMP certification, with experience managing schedules and budgets and familiarity with Lean, MRP, Kanban, and related manufacturing concepts.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or other related field.
• PMP certification.
• Prior project management experience including ownership of schedule and budget.
• Proficiency with varied manufacturing concepts such as VSM, 3P, Lean, SPC, Capacity Analysis, JIT, MRP, Kanban, TQM, PM, etc.
• Experience with Capital Equipment procurement and Installation.
• Familiarity with electromechanical production equipment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• MS Project and Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of implementation of new manufacturing processes and equipment including Concept Review, Preliminary Design Review, Detailed Design Review, procurement, installation and budget management.
• Define Functional Requirements, create Statements of Work, and prepare Requests for Quote and all associated documentation.
• Work with Product/Manufacturing Engineering and Assembly Area personnel to determine process and equipment requirements.
• Lead Peer Reviews, PFMEA’s, and EH&S Reviews related to new tooling and equipment changes.
• Maintain document revision control and document all vendor communications.
• Work closely with outside vendors and internal groups to maintain project schedule.

Job Information

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage projects which support Manufacturing with a focus on increased production capacity, cost reduction, and new process implementation. This is a role which involves close interaction with numerous engineering disciplines and hourly functions. Ability to work in a team environment is a must. This position holder must be comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. Individual must also be detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.

Job Requirement

Education:

• BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Process, Industrial Engineering, or other related field

Experience :
