Job summary

HyAxiom, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer/Lead to drive fabrication and assembly performance for fuel cell components and subassemblies on the South Windsor, CT site.

You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and ensure timely quality in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor staff, develop metrics, manage weekly production meetings, and partner with procurement, materials, engineering and quality groups to resolve issues and upgrade facilities and

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 4-7+ years of experience.
• MA/MS degree with 2-5+ years of experience.
• PhD with 0-2+ years of experience.
• Robust teambuilding focus, principles and practices.
• Experience leading and working with an hourly production group, union or non-union.
• Metric development and usage.
• Lead or support weekly production meetings.

Responsibilities

• Focus on team direction and support to drive and achieve fabrication and assembly objectives.
• Seek new opportunities to advance and improve production operations in terms of equipment, process, cost, and performance and productivity elevation.
• Support long-term strategic vision to include and drive toward achievement of organizational and customer objectives.
