Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer – Business Process Management to join the New Glenn Manufacturing Engineering team in Space Coast, FL. You will drive standardized ME processes, champion enterprise tools adoption, and build a robust knowledge-management ecosystem to enable high-quality product delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering with process standardization or workflow improvement.
• 2+ years developing standardized processes or automation in manufacturing.
• Experience with PLM/MES tools.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve standardized ME processes and templates.
• Enhance work order quality and consistency with standard procedures.
• Increase visibility and traceability of ME actions.
• Standardize mBOM management within MRP systems.
• Identify and integrate new digital and automation tools.
• Lead development of the ME handbook.
• Build knowledge ecosystem and onboarding materials.
• Create dashboards and KPIs for process standardization.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• Support Production readiness with standardized docs.
