Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth, MN seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, tooling, and controls in line with product specifications and quality standards.

You will troubleshoot production issues, coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products, and lead continuous improvement efforts to boost safety, quality, delivery and cost while collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree from an accredited college in an Engineering field or equivalent.
• 3 years experience, Cirrus internship or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of engineering applications, production and quality control principles.
• Familiarity with CAD/Creo, ERP and MES systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety standards and maintain a safe operating environment.
• Develop efficient manufacturing processes by studying requirements and designing methods.
• Specify and test tools, machinery, and equipment for manufacturing methods.
• Coordinate manufacturing launches for new or revised products.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Provide manufacturing engineering support on the production floor.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in best practices.
