Job summary

Cirrus is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, implement, and improve processes, methods, and controls in alignment with product specs and quality standards. You will troubleshoot issues, drive manufacturing launches for new parts, and support production in KPIs while mentoring teammates.

Key duties include tooling specification, equipment implementation, and collaboration with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3 years experience, Cirrus internship or equivalent.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and production processes.
• Understanding of quality control and costs in manufacturing.
• Ability to drive projects to completion with defined scopes and resources.
• Strong communication skills at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety standards and maintain a safe operating environment.
• Develop efficient manufacturing processes by studying requirements and validating methods.
• Design, test, and implement tooling and equipment for manufacturing methods.
• Coordinate manufacturing launches of new or revised products.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Provide on-floor manufacturing engineering support and feedback to teams.
