Job summary

Altria is seeking an Associate Manager, Manufacturing [Reliability Engineer] to lead reliability initiatives at our Richmond-area manufacturing site. You will drive predictive maintenance, RCFA investigations, and cross-functional collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations.

You will apply Reliability Centered Maintenance principles, analyze data, influence maintenance strategies, and deliver measurable improvements while maintaining safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years proven experience in reliability, maintenance, engineering or related field in process manufacturing.
• Strong technical problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Cross-functional collaboration and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Asset Reliability and Predictive Maintenance.
• Lead RCFA and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze PM effectiveness and advise maintenance strategy improvements.
• Provide reliability input during design, installation, and modifications.
