You will plan and optimize manufacturing operations, guarantee efficient and cost-conscious processes, and support the commissioning of a new multi-model line for solid rocket motors at the Advanced Propulsion Facility. The role emphasizes ensuring equipment meets quality standards, adherence to safety, and collaboration with design and production

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field with 4+ years of experience, or master’s with 2+ years; or equivalent experience.
Experience in manufacturing planning, processes, and equipment.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency with CAD tools and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Analyze production processes to identify efficiency improvements and cost reductions.
Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and SOPs.
Apply Lean principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
Provide technical support and guidance to production teams.
Monitor production data to optimize resources and workflow.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
