Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler for a stable, family-owned precision manufacturer serving the medical device industry. The role focuses on developing production schedules, coordinating with production, purchasing, sales, and operations to ensure on-time delivery, in a high-mix, low-volume setting.

The ideal candidate has ERP experience, strong organizational and analytical skills, and the ability to optimize throughput while maintaining accurate lead times.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling.
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume environments like CNC or metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor capacity and resource utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to align schedules with priorities.
• Review orders and adjust plans based on demand and delivery needs.
• Create and release manufacturing travelers in ERP.
• Coordinate with purchasing for material availability.
• Track WIP and finished goods to support planning accuracy.
• Communicate schedule changes and risks to teams.
• Maintain planning data, calendars, and routing information.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
