Job summary

ITT Engineered Valves in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Planner to join our manufacturing team. The Planner will coordinate production for configured items, align plans with customer demand, and work closely with Production Supervision.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and 1+ years of planning experience in manufacturing. Strong MRPl/ERP (SAP preferred) and MS Office skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• 1+ years planning experience preferred; 2+ years in manufacturing acceptable.
• CPIM/CPM certification desirable.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with a diverse employee base.
• Strong knowledge of MRPs/ERP (SAP preferred) and MS Office.
• Ability to write routine reports and present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Releases shop orders for configured items and/or components in accordance with planning data and lead times.
• Monitors capacity of critical work centers and balances demand with capacity.
• Maintains data on released shop orders.
• Quotes/issues delivery dates to Customer Service.
• Reschedules orders and informs the next level Planner or Customer Service.
• Maintains knowledge and provides assistance to Inventory and Warehouse Management.
• Monitors on-time performance and recommends improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
