Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner to coordinate production planning, materials, and scheduling to ensure products are manufactured efficiently and delivered on time.

The role requires strong experience in manufacturing, production planning, inventory, and ERP systems, with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration across Operations, Purchasing, Engineering and Quality. The position is based in Tampa, FL, with a focus on on-time delivery and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to analyze production data, inventory levels and demand.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, inventory, capacity and requirements.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, engineering, quality and operations to ensure materials and resources are available.
• Plan and prioritize manufacturing activities to meet delivery needs.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules for changes, delays or constraints.
• Review orders, forecasts, inventory and material requirements.
• Identify shortages and bottlenecks and work with teams to resolve them.
• Create and maintain work orders, production plans and scheduling docs.
• Coordinate material availability with Purchasing and Supply Chain.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure raw materials and components are available.
• Track production metrics and report schedule changes and risks to management.
• Support continuous improvement for efficiency, lead times and on-time delivery.
• Maintain planning information within the ERP/MRP system.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, capacity, and production requirements.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure materials and resources are available.
• Plan and prioritize manufacturing activities to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to address changes, delays, or capacity constraints.
• Review customer orders, forecasts, inventory levels, and material requirements.
• Identify potential shortages, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
• Create and maintain work orders, production plans, and scheduling documentation.
• Coordinate material availability with Purchasing and Supply Chain.
• Monitor inventory levels and help ensure appropriate raw materials and components are available for production.
• Track key production metrics and communicate schedule changes and risks to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on production efficiency, lead times, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate planning and scheduling information within the company’s ERP/MRP system.
