Job summary

Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH is looking for a US-based Planner to schedule and coordinate manufacturing activities for an assigned product line, ensuring timely delivery and efficient material flow. You will analyze shortages, participate in design reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives including Kanban, pull systems, and MRP data updates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.
APICS certification is a plus or substitution for degree.
Experience in electronics industry planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze and communicate part shortages to Materials Manager and buyers.
Prepare for and attend engineering Design Reviews and New Product Launch meetings
Support material flow improvements (Kanban, batch flow, pull initiatives)
Plan, schedule and communicate sub-assemblies and finished goods priorities
Develop detailed schedules, material requirements lists, and production plans for established product lines
Monitor variances between actual and planned production times
Update MRP planning parameters for new items and changes to existing items
Lead meetings and track actions for special projects in Materials/Production
Measure schedule adherence and adjust planning methodologies
