Qualifications

• 2+ years in production planning or related field.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.

• Advanced Excel skills with pivots, lookups, formulas and data analysis.
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on demand forecasts, orders, inventory, and capacity.
• Monitor work orders and production progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
• Review material shortages and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize disruptions.
• Create, release and maintain manufacturing work orders within the ERP system.
• Support production readiness by ensuring materials and planning data are accurate and available.
• Update and maintain BOMs, routing information, and planning parameters.
• Track work order status, schedule attainment, and material consumption.

Position Summary

The Production Planner supports production planning and scheduling activities to ensure materials, resources, and manufacturing orders are aligned with customer demand and production objectives. This role partners closely with Procurement, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to maintain production readiness, monitor material availability, and support the timely execution of production schedules.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, manufacturing operations, or related fields
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems
• Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field & equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis
• Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities

Preferred Requirements

• Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central
