Job description

Manufacturing Planner I – Engineering Rapid Build Services (ERBS)
Location: Tucson, Arizona

Eligibility

Onsite position. U.S. Citizenship required. Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret) required prior to start date.

Responsibilities
  • Actively contribute to the design, acquisition, and manufacturing of complex test equipment including cables, chassis, electro/mechanical fixtures.
  • Participate in engineering design reviews.
  • Manage and maintain build configuration and quality history records.
  • Acquire, track, and manage material from procurement through final delivery of completed test sets.
  • Assist in resolving manufacturing issues and oversee delivery of final products to internal and external customers.
Qualifications
  • Typical requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Less than 2 years of prior relevant engineering experience interpreting engineering drawings related to electrical instrumentation, assemblies, cables, chassis, and electro‑mechanical assemblies.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering laboratory environment.
  • Experience with material procurement.
  • U.S. Citizen with active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with test equipment or prototype engineering hardware.
  • Experience maintaining configuration control of products and drawings.
  • Experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software and database applications.
  • Experience with the design, use, and fabrication of electrical instrumentation.
