Qualifications

• 3-5 years of payroll processing experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or UKG Pro and timekeeping systems.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including multi-state payroll.
• Experience with unionized workforce payroll and related reporting.
• Proven ability to handle high-volume payroll with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage timekeeping system and integrate data for payroll processing, including shift differentials and overtime.
• Calculate and submit all federal, state, and local payroll taxes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Administer employee benefits deductions, including health insurance and 401(k).
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax information promptly.
• Prepare and distribute W-2 forms and handle year-end payroll closing procedures.
• Reconcile payroll accounts and general ledger entries, resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and confidentiality.
