Job summary

Morrison Cup Solutions, an Oklahoma City based foodservice packaging company, is seeking a dedicated Parts & Inventory Specialist to own the storeroom, identify parts, source vendors, and keep stock at optimal levels in support of the Production Department.

You will work with maintenance techs, plant manager, and suppliers; maintain CMMS records, run cycle counts, manage reorder points, and ensure timely parts availability to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience as a parts clerk, storeroom attendant, or inventory specialist in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong ability to identify industrial parts, including bearings, belts, motors, sensors, fittings, and fasteners.
• Hands-on experience with a CMMS ( MaintainX, Fiix, UpKeep, Limble, eMaint, or SAP PM ) or similar system.
• Proven experience sourcing parts, comparing vendors, and placing purchase orders.
• Working knowledge of min/max levels, reorder points, and cycle counting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Identify parts for mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using part numbers, manuals, drawings, and OEM catalogs.
• Cross-reference OEM parts to approved equivalents to save cost or lead time.
• Inspect incoming parts to confirm item, quantity, and condition before stocking.
• Request quotes, compare price and lead time, and place orders with approved vendors.
• Find sources for hard-to-find, obsolete, or urgent parts to support breakdown repairs.
• Track open orders, expedite late shipments, and resolve shipping, billing, and return issues.
• Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
