Job summary

Morrison Cup Solutions in Oklahoma City is seeking a dedicated, mechanically inclined Machine Specialist to support the Foam Department. The role involves operating and monitoring production equipment, interpreting digital work orders on iPads, and promoting teamwork to meet safety and quality targets.

Ideal candidates will understand manufacturing operations, be dependable, and comfortable adjusting machine settings. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds.
• Complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems.
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Monitor materials and maintain adequate supply levels.
• Load boxes into case packers and assist with packing.
• Adjust machine settings to keep products within specifications.
• Monitor scrap levels and report issues as needed.
• Cover operator breaks and lunches as needed.

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable mechanically inclined individual to support the Foam Department of Morrison Cup Solutions.

We currently have three shifts available:

A Shift:Rotating (week 1: Monday - Wednesday 4am - 4pm) (Week 2: Monday - Thursday 4am to 4pm)

C Shift:Rotating (Week 1: Thursday - Sunday 4am -4pm) (Week 2: Friday - Sunday 4am -4pm)

Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Understand and accurately complete digital work orders using iPads and related systems
• Operate and run all assigned machines at designated production speeds
• Lead and direct operators while promoting teamwork and efficiency
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions
• Monitor and maintain adequate supply levels for all materials required to operate machines
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 10-hour shifts
• Maintain strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and safety
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with management, maintenance personnel, and fellow operators to support production goals
• Assist with packing product as needed
• Adjust machine settings (HMI and machine adjustments) to ensure products remain within specifications
• Assist with and monitor the pre-expansion process as needed
• Load boxes into case packers
• Monitor scrap levels and report issues as needed
• Assist with covering operator breaks and lunches

The Machine Specialist must possess the following qualities:

• Have an understanding of manufacturing/machine operations
• Dependable (must be at work on time)
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must have basic knowledge of general tools and their uses
• Pallet jack and forklift experience a plus
• Flexible work schedule
