Job summary

Pentair plc is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for 1st Shift in Ashland, OH. You will support the flow of raw materials through the full manufacturing process, potentially working across areas and learning various production tasks.

Training is provided for multiple production areas; expect duties that may include material picking, sub-assembly building, and assisting on the paint line while using hand tools and PIT equipment. Emphasis on LEAN and safety throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in multiple areas/departments
• Flexible to support any area of production/distribution
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior manufacturing/distribution experience
• Stand-up reach experience (PIT experience highly desired)
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach and twist
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Steel-toed footwear required

Responsibilities

• Support the flow of raw material into product throughout the whole manufacturing process
• Build sub-assemblies and assist on the paint line
• Work in multiple areas as needed across production and distribution
• Use hand tools, scanning tools and Power Industrial Trucks
• Support LEAN initiatives and maintain job safety standards
