Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 1st shift at our Chardon, OH facility. You will service automated, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, performing repairs and preventative maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic systems, installing AC/DC drives, reading diagrams and manuals, and documenting supplies needed. Overtime opportunities exist based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of working with electrical up to 480V.
• Strong math, mechanical reasoning and critical thinking.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of a written and hands-on skills test.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Install and set up AC and DC drives; troubleshoot 480V motor controls and PLCs.
• Perform preventative maintenance according to program outlines.
• Document supplies needed and report shortages.
• Read diagrams, schematics and manuals; verify repair accuracy.
• Contribute to production area tasks as needed.
