Pentair is seeking a Foundry Maintenance Technician (1st shift) for our Ashland, OH facility. The role diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical issues, fabricates components, and supports preventive maintenance and installations to sustain continuous operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining foundry equipment, operating shop tooling, and repairing controls while adhering to safety standards. The candidate should have a Journeyman’s Card in industrial maintenance with 4+ years’

Qualifications

• Journeyman’s Card in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience (at least 4+ years of maintenance experience).
• Knowledge of high or low voltage electrical work is preferred.
• CNC experience is preferred.
• PLC experience is preferred.
• Welding knowledge and skill to perform various welding functions.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, written specifications, charts, and tables.
• Able to work in hot, dusty, noisy, and physically demanding environments.
• Comfortable working in tight spots when needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
• Steel-toed footwear and metatarsal covers are required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Fabricate and modify components; support preventive maintenance, emergency response, and equipment installations.
• Maintain, repair, rebuild, install, and test machine tools and foundry equipment.
• Set up and operate shop equipment to fabricate and repair precision parts.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and plant-wide electrical systems.
• Develop production setups and solutions for unique operational challenges.
