Responsibilities

• Work towards and acquire skills to advance to a minimum of Level 3 in the Skill Based Pay System.
• Support the team through commitment to Quality, Service, Cost, and Safety.
• Participate actively in team meetings, production, and goal setting.
• Maintain proactive and reactive involvement in 5S practices.
• Volunteer for team projects and engagement roles, sharing knowledge as needed.
• Use problem-solving and lean tools to resolve team issues.
• Obtain certification on all required processes.
• Support and adhere to current policies.
• Communicate effectively, providing and receiving feedback to resolve conflicts.
• Operate a hand truck safely to move products.
• Follow proper packing methods per specifications and bill of materials.
• Assist with preventive maintenance (PMs).
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Essential Functions

• Possess mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Perform product changeovers on team processes.
• Operate equipment such as Two Piece Autocoiners, including loading barriers and gaskets, and pack products in trays.
• Visually inspect, measure, and test products according to specifications.

Physical Requirements

• Stand constantly, walk frequently, and sit occasionally.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull up to 500 pounds with a hand truck.
• Occasionally stoop and twist.
• Reach while standing and sitting.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Demonstrate fine motor skills.
• Communicate clearly and effectively.
• Have sufficient eyesight to read gauges and perform manual tests.
