We are currently looking for Production Operators at our Hot Springs, AR location with a starting pay of $21.00 - $23.00/hr! (DOE)

What is a Production Operator?

Production operators are the cornerstone of our company, responsible for completing various processes in the plant and assisting material handlers in shipping and receiving when necessary.

What do I have to do?

• Shipping and receiving bulk materials
• Loading or unloading tankers trucks and/or rail cars
• Operate equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, and yard tractor
• Filling drums & totes with chemicals
• Product packaging and labeling
• Filling out required forms, logs, or other plant paperwork
• Monitoring process parameters
• Collecting process samples
• Abiding by the principles in the EHS&S mission statement
• Following responsibilities and training outlined in the RCRA Hazwaste Job Duties Matrix
• Passing fit-for-duty requirements
• Adhering to ORG Chem Group's quality policy

Requirements

What kind of experience do I need?

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and understand English effectively
• Ability to perform basic math calculations
• Must comply with drug and alcohol testing policies and wear all required PPE
• Successful completion of criminal background check, drug screening, and physical ability testing
• Able to climb stairs, use a ladder, and lift 60 pounds
• Able to walk at a pace of 3-3.5 mph for half a mile or 10 minutes
• Able to lift 40 pounds from waist to ground, rotating 90 degrees
