Job Description

Sirius Staffing is seeking Manufacturing Operators to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing department in Birmingham, AL. Compensation is $20/hr plus benefits, PTO, and holiday pay. The shifts typically start at 8 am - 5 pm, with potential for other shifts, so flexibility is preferred. The role involves assisting with aseptic, sterilization, and clean room processes for pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of final products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and assets using manual or automated methods (e.g., hand wiping, Clean-in-Place, Steam-in-Place).
• Maintain housekeeping, stock supplies, and track inventory through cycle counts.
• Identify and support opportunities for maintenance, calibration, and process improvements.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 20/20 vision (corrected or uncorrected).
• Ability to use basic hand tools and specialty tools for equipment operation.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations.
• Strong math skills, including arithmetic and formula application.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed technical documentation and instructions.
• Familiarity with lab glassware.
• Basic understanding of machinery/system controls and data logging software.
• Knowledge of cGMP procedures.
• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety.
• Preferred: AA degree in a technical field and relevant manufacturing equipment experience.
