Precision Castparts in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to ensure throughput targets are met safely and efficiently. You will manage production schedules, supervise a 40+ person team, coach and train employees, and drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a B.S./B.A. or equivalent, 4+ years in manufacturing (aerospace/forging/manufacturing preferred), and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• 4+ years manufacturing experience (aerospace, forging, machining backgrounds preferred).
• Supervisory experience leading teams of 40+ people.
• Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, direct and coordinate all activities to maximize productivity while meeting safety, quality and throughput targets.
• Plan daily/weekly/quarterly labor, equipment, and supply needs to meet productivity targets.
• Ensure production data is gathered and reported daily.
• Train employees on procedures and practices.
• Interviewing, hiring & training; planning, assigning & directing work; evaluating and appraising performance.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
