Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Position

Operations Supervisor (1st or 2nd shift) - Aerospace Manufacturer - Gardena, CA

Salary and Bonus:

  • Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year
  • Bonus: 15%
Key Qualifications:
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Leadership experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing
  • Experience with safety protocols and team management
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  2. Lead and manage a team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
  3. Communicate daily updates on production metrics and escalate issues as needed.
  4. Schedule production to optimize machine and labor efficiency.
  5. Achieve daily operational metrics related to safety, productivity, scrap, and shipping.
  6. Monitor and control costs using daily tools and manage staffing levels.
  7. Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques.
  8. Ensure proper documentation, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
  9. Conduct regular team meetings and foster communication.
  10. Train staff on safety, production, and lean principles.
  11. Resolve technical and administrative issues promptly.
Required Qualifications:
  • 1-5 years of manufacturing experience
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software (JDEdwards, AS400/Mapcis preferred)
  • Mathematical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
