Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Remington, IN site to support production operations, manage inventory, procurement, payroll, and vendor relationships. The role focuses on coordinating activities across maintenance, production, and external partners with strong organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will have SAP/inventory experience or be eager to learn, plus solid MS Office proficiency and the ability to lift 60 lbs. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant manufacturing/production experience.
• Valid Driver’s License; MVR review may apply for company vehicle use.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with attention to detail.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations or willingness to learn agricultural operations.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Ability to rapidly connect and analyze data.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
• Willingness to learn SAP/inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff in operational activities across delegated areas.
• Represent the site in community outreach events.
• Enter and validate information in computer/data systems.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of site employees.
• Process freight payments, align with schedules, and oversee deliveries.
• Follow payroll policies and perform related audits.
• Support site initiatives and Production System improvements.
• Maintain grower/vendor data in SAP and oversee inbound/outbound trucking.
