Job summary

Comfort Systems USA, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Project Manager I to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery by coordinating Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management and Purchasing.

The role emphasizes managing BOMs, drawings, material availability and shop-floor scheduling to keep projects on track. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3–5 years in industrial/manufacturing roles, experience with ERP and MRP, and familiarity with Lean/ISO practices; Six Sigma Green

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program; substitution for military leadership or technical experience considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering or operations management in heavy/industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP, BOMs, and monitoring work orders in an MRP system; Blue Print reading and P&ID interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Develop Production / Project Execution Plan to meet delivery schedule.
• Verify drawings, BOMs, work orders, and material availability prior to and during manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics and Production Planning.
• Perform in-house expediting to maintain schedule deliverables and monitor progress against schedules.
• Track root causes of non-conformances and report impacts; support revision control processes.
