Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager 2 for its Elkton, Maryland facility. You will lead direct and coordination of mixing and casting operations, while ensuring safety and quality objectives are met.

At the same time, you will plan production schedules, manage materials, and drive continuous improvement through KPIs, with strong communication to teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication with teams and management.
• Experience presenting to executive staff/leadership.
• Lean/5S experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate energetic mixing and casting operations with safety and quality focus.
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet delivery requirements.
• Oversee work-in-process status, material availability, and production problems.
• Maintain ownership of KPIs driving process control and efficiency.
• Provide direction and training to employees for operational success.
