Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Manager Manufacturing Operations 2 for our Cincinnati, OH campus. You will lead manufacturing assembly and test, planning, stores, and shipping while coordinating with the Xetron Operating Unit to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets.

You'll shape the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan, guiding technical direction, continuous improvement, safety and capacity planning. A strong leadership background and ERP/MRP experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant work experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Leadership experience in manufacturing environment.
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Cincinnati manufacturing team and operations.
• Interface with Xetron Operating Unit and coordinate with other units to meet cost, schedule and performance goals.
• Provide leadership in process development, continuous improvement, safety and producibility.
• Lead capacity planning, staffing, and manpower planning, including merit and promotion processes.
• Collaborate with business area leaders to meet Cincinnati goals.
