Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee shift supervisors, lead workers and front-line employees at our Bastrop manufacturing facility. You will handle scheduling, establish standards, conduct site evaluations, and manage inventory, budgets and safety compliance.

You will drive productivity, ensure customer service requirements are met, coach staff, and coordinate with the Site Manager to deliver world-class operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of mechanical and electrical system operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement policies, systems, programs, processes and plans for on-site operations.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, train, and maintain a safe work environment; foster staff growth.
• Maintain clear communication with client and personnel to meet contract needs.
• Ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance; support program improvements.
• Coach, counsel and discipline employees as needed and uphold company rules.
• Review payroll and manage budgeted hours to avoid unprofitable overruns.
