Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group in Monroe, NC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing facility, overseeing production, inventory, service parts, and operations support. You will drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery while shaping a culture of continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

You will partner with engineering, quality, supply chain, sales, and customer service to implement Lean, manage budgets, develop talent, and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• 10+ years manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with production planning, inventory control, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial performance objectives.
• Develop and execute operational strategies that align with company goals and guide the plant leadership team.
• Plan, organize, and optimize daily operations to ensure efficient production flow and capacity to meet demand.
• Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety policies and engaging employees.
• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, inventory, and cost.
