Job summary

CentroMotion is seeking an Operations Manager in West Bend, WI to lead manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role requires a continuous improvement mindset and LEAD-led initiatives across the facility.

You will drive data-driven performance, oversee staffing and training, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and procurement to ensure world-class operations. A bachelor's degree and 7–10 years of plant leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years of proven success in managing plant operations in a world-class manufacturing organization.
• Proficient in utilizing business systems and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data driven processes to meet manufacturing requirements and customer satisfaction; develop world-class operational standards.
• Make resource, hiring/training, and capital investment decisions to achieve plans.
• Drive safety improvements and support HSSE goals and Goal Zero.
• Collaborate with maintenance and subcontractors to keep equipment safe and operational.
• Partner with union leadership to manage daily operations and enforce policies.
• Lead continuous improvement using World Class/Lean Manufacturing techniques to increase output and reduce costs.
• Develop Lean strategy/plan with Lean Coordinator and implement 5S, TPM, SMED to improve discipline.
• Standardize work across processes and document workflows for efficiency and waste reduction.
• Support ISO 9000 compliance and use root-cause problem solving (5-Why, 8D, etc.).
• Maintain strong relationships with Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales and Supply Chain.
