CentroMotion | Weasler Engineering in West Bend, WI is seeking an Operations Manager to direct and improve all manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. The role requires championing Lean initiatives and leading cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will drive world-class standards, collaborate with unions, and implement structured problem-solving approaches while sustaining ISO 9000 compliance and continuous improvement across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years of proven success in managing plant operations in a world-class manufacturing organization.
• Proficient in utilizing business systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data-driven processes to meet manufacturing requirements and customer satisfaction; develop world-class operational standards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Make resource, hiring/training, and capital investment decisions to achieve business forecasts.
• Own safety improvements and support HSSE goals.
• Coordinate with maintenance and subcontractors to ensure safe, optimal equipment operation.
• Collaborate with union leadership to manage daily operations and enforce policies within the collective bargaining framework.
• Lead Lean initiatives (World Class Manufacturing) to increase output and reduce costs.
• Develop Lean strategy with Staff Management and Lean Coordinators, employing 5S, TPM, SMED to drive discipline.
• Create Standard Work and improve processes with work instructions, flow, visual management, waste reduction, and cross-training.
• Support ISO 9000 processes and drive root-cause problem solving (5-Why, 8D, etc.).
• Foster strong relationships with Engineering, Quality, Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain to meet objectives.
