Job summary
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective production aligned with quality and delivery targets. You will drive capacity planning, staffing, and continuous improvement initiatives across production and test operations.
The role requires 5–10 years of supervisory experience in high-tech electromechanical environments, strong leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills to optimize performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- 5–10 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-tech electromechanical manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient production meeting quality and delivery goals.
- Drive capacity planning, staffing, and resource optimization to support growth.
- Lead Lean initiatives (5S, VSM, visual management) to reduce waste and improve quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Programs to meet schedules.
- Implement and monitor KPIs for throughput, uptime, and cost performance.
