Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and profitability. The role requires building high-performing teams and delivering best-in-class customer satisfaction, initially based in Iron Mountain, MI for about one year before relocating to Oklahoma City, OK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of manufacturing management experience (required).
• 10+ years of Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma quality processes (required).
• Proficiency in Excel and computer skills (required).
• Strong knowledge of Financial Management.
• Experience in a growth-oriented sales and marketing organization.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to team members and drive safety culture improvements to ensure workforce safety.
• Lead operational improvements to reduce cost, improve quality, and drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Guide adoption of best practices across the value chain and coordinate with leaders across sites.
• Support process standardization across facilities and strategic planning execution.
• Oversee capital equipment purchases and resource planning aligned with sales projections.
• Manage union relations, including discipline and negotiations.
