Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Centralia, MO to lead manufacturing and facilities engineering for construction and lineman tools. The role oversees capital projects, budgets, and process improvements to support daily operations and manufacturing viability.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management, driving process optimization, and supporting new product introductions to ensure design for manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years prior experience in Manufacturing Engineering of metal and assembly environment.
• Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawing requirements and specifications.
• Experience with project management and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
• Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily engineering support requirements and long-term plant operations planning.
• Coordinate activities with other management personnel and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Advance process optimization, quality, and profitability improvements.
• Support New Products teams to ensure manufacturability and timely launches.
• Inform management of progress and obstacles and propose solutions.
• Develop and enforce work procedures to meet production schedules.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial)
