Job summary

The Richmond Group USA seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a stainless fabrication and assembly operation within a regulated industry. You will drive planning, scheduling, procurement, and ERP optimization while delivering measurable improvements.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee production, maintenance, and inventory through three direct reports, shaping a culture of quality, on-time delivery, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations management experience.
• Job shop or engineered-to-order experience; fabrication, welding, and assembly preferred.
• ISO quality systems experience, including traceability and record keeping.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience across planning, scheduling, procurement, and inventory.
• Proven leadership and data-driven continuous improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, maintenance, planning, procurement, shipping & receiving, and inventory.
• Lead operations through three direct reports in a job shop environment.
• Strengthen planning, scheduling, and procurement while expanding ERP usage.
• Develop the team, improve systems, and deliver measurable results.
