Job summary

The Richmond Group USA seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead a stainless fabrication and assembly operation within a regulated industry. You will drive planning, scheduling, procurement, and ERP optimization while delivering measurable improvements.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee production, maintenance, and inventory through three direct reports, shaping a culture of quality, on-time delivery, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations management experience.
• Job shop or engineered-to-order experience; fabrication, welding, and assembly preferred.
• ISO quality systems experience, including traceability and record keeping.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience across planning, scheduling, procurement, and inventory.
• Proven leadership and data-driven continuous improvement skills.

Job description

The TRG Manufacturing Search Division is actively recruiting for a Manufacturing Operations Manager to join a profitable manufacturer of engineered-to-order solutions for customers in highly regulated industries. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys developing teams, improving operations, and making a direct impact on business performance.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team, overseeing production, maintenance, planning, procurement, shipping & receiving, and inventory through three direct reports. The operation combines stainless steel fabrication, TIG welding, and assembly in a job shop environment where quality, traceability, and reliable delivery are essential.

A major focus will be strengthening planning, scheduling, and procurement while expanding the use of ERP capabilities. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has seen effective manufacturing systems in action and wants to help shape how a growing operation plans, schedules, and delivers.
