Job summary

The Operations Manager at Bama Companies, Inc. is a leadership role in Tulsa, Oklahoma, accountable for the Production Department. This position drives production strategy, focus, and alignment with Bama's Key Strategic Intentions, serving as a change agent reporting to the Plant Manager.

It directs Production Supervisors, Operations Coordinators and team members, while championing Quality, Safety, Continuous Improvement and EQ initiatives to employees, customers and management.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Science, Business or related discipline and/or 5 years of related experience with increasing responsibilities within a food manufacturing facility.
• 3-7 years in a management role with demonstrated excellence in management and organizational duties.
• Understanding of safety requirements.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• Ability to lead, supervise and motivate team.
• Ability to present to various levels within the organization with clarity and direction.
• Ability to influence change through effective communication and direction.
• Interact with Operations teams and visit Bama facilities regularly.

• Oversee Production Supervisors, Operations Coordinators and Production Team Members.
